Cherry 2-part Chippendale chest on chest, Connecticut, Colchester area, c. 1780. The swan's-neck crest with flower heads and distinctive fan carved drawer are associated with pieces from Wethersfield to Colchester. Cherry with pine secondary wood. Good bracket base. Small repairs. Ht. 90"; W. 39"; D. 19 1/2".
