Extremely rare quill work or rolled paper English (Georgian) shield for a pole screen, c. 1770-1780. A central oval print is surrounded by an inner shield shape, surrounded by a multi-colored border of flower heads and rolled paper filigree. Condition: Surprisingly good overall condition with small losses. Print is faded. A period American pole screen (missing finial) can be included with purchase at no charge.
