A rare pierced lead glazed earthenware (creamware) pieced dish, circa 1760. The mottled glaze is typical of Whieldon pottery. This plate was de-accessioned by the St. Louis Art Museum. Condition: Approximately 4" of the pierced border is restored. The restoration is not noticeable from the front. D. 9 1/4".
